The University of New England, Armidale, New South Wales, Australia was the first Australian university established outside a capital city. With a history extending back to the 1920s, UNE has a well-earned reputation as one of Australia’s great teaching, training and research universities.
The conference is hosted by the School of Environmental and Rural Science, one of the largest and most respected agriculture and environmental science schools in Australia. The Animal science Department has several partnerships with industry, including the industry-funded Beef, Sheep and Poultry Cooperative Research Centres, all of which are located in Armidale. The conference will be held on the northern campus of the University 5 km to the northwest of the city centre, in an attractive rural and bushland setting.
